Assembly errors and missing parts cause a change in the typical noise signature of the test item. MIG16 AQS is able to reliably recognize even minimal changes in the noise signature.

The total noise level of a test item not only to be observed from a sound-engineering perspective. Often a non-typical level of the total sound points towards production defects or incorrect operating conditions during testing.

MIG16 AQS identifies the noise level of the test item by forming effective values (RMS) from the measured structure-borne noise.

Many criteria in the noise structure of a test item that are relevant for quality purposes can be heard and described by trained personnel at the test stand, and also in the vehicle. Test-stand drivers and test drivers assess these noises itemively using manufacturer-specific scales and levels.


MIG16 AQS also identifies all audible abnormalities - objectively and universally. The levels, frequency characteristics, and timing of each abnormality are possible. And that also applies to abnormalities that cannot be heard by the human ear.
